The rights of women are in the cross-hairs in many ways. Reproductive rights and women’s health centers such as Planned Parenthood are very likely to suffer under proposed and likely to be proposed legislation at both the State and Federal level. Join The Satanic Temple- Arizona Chapter’s (TST AZ) efforts in improving the access to basic menstruation products for those in need by “Menstruatin’ with Satan”.

Menstruatin’ with Satan” is a campaign that aims to make menstruation products available to all people in need, especially those who may not be able to afford them without assistance. Menstruation is a non-optional physical reality for many people, and the continued stigmatization of menstruation is harmful to everyone. Through product and financial donations, Menstruatin’ with Satan provides menstruation products to shelters by collecting products for distribution to Arizona shelters though “Project Period” at the Young Women’s Community Association (YWCA) of Southern Arizona whose mission is to “distribute tampons, pads and reusable menstrual cups to women and girls in need; work to make these products more affordable and accessible; and combat the body-shaming that has prevented us from having this conversation before. It’s time to change that.”

We hope for the opportunity to collaborate with you in making a positive difference for the disadvantaged women within the community. Thank you kindly for your consideration. Our campaign will be running from March 14, 2017 until July 31, 2017, see the map and list below for businesses in your area who have compassionately agreed to host our drop-off locations:

Where Do My Donations Go?

Donations will be funneled to a variety of women’s shelters and community groups in the Southern Arizona area.

Our partners currently include institutions such as The YWCA in Tucson. This group provides learning opportunities, support groups, and resources that help women make positive, sustaining changes in their lives and the lives of their children.

The YWCA of Southern AZ was founded in 1917, just five years after Arizona gained statehood, by visionary women committed to establishing progressive values in this young state. We are proud that, from the beginning, YWCA of Southern Arizona has been committed to promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. Their mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that helps poor and homeless women maintain their dignity, seek opportunity and find security in their lives.

Donations will be spread through various support groups like Your Sister’s Closet, Emerge Center Against Domestic Abuse, Primavera Foundation, Teen Pregnancy Services, Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona, Family Services, Child and Family Resources, Inc., The Haven, and Tucson Interfaith HIV/AIDS Network.
